As the saying goes, we’re small but perfectly formed. twenty%extra was set up by partners Ansel Neckles and Stephanie McLaren in 2009.
The big idea was to create an agency that not only produced beautiful and clever work but to also to connect and influence the communities & organisations we work with.
The world has indeed turned social. For us however, the term means much more than twitter and Facebook accounts or wooing the latest bloggers.
It’s an opportunity for us to shape the world using communications to create change, challenge, inspire and whenever possible make us smile.
The Team
Our team are all round creative thinkers and do’ers – equally comfortable with scalpels and cutting boards to sitting behind the mac or out on location directing a film, with more than a dash of strategic smarts to add the mix.
We also regularly work and collaborate with a network of associates to extend our creative clout.

Ansel Neckles | Creative Director
If you asked his mum, she would say that Ansel would have popped out the womb with a pencil and pad if it were possible. Always with an idea and quotable to hand, Ansel graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in Graphic Design.
Wanting the challenge of pairing his design skills and wordsmithery, Ansel spent a number of years at Tribal DDB advertising agency as an Art Director / Copywriter. Whilst there he earned a couple of prestigious D&AD commendations for his VW Golf and Touareg campaigns, as well as working on numerous ad campaigns for other household names such as British Gas and The Guardian to name a few. Ansel also has time at Saatchi & Saatchi and Wunderman under his belt.
If he was a Buddhist he would probably reincarnate as a Formula One driver but his obsession with wheels doesn’t stop there. As a keen cyclist he’s also been known to indulge in ‘bike porn’*. Ssshh! I won’t tell if you don’t.
*an activity that involves looking at various models of bikes and their parts with no intention of actually buying anything.

Stephanie McLaren | Business Development & Marketing Director
Stephanie is an unusual creative, being left handed with a right thinking brain that is strangely organised. Having worked across several creative industries, from TV (Trouble TV, MTV) to starting her own design label Sexie Booda, (wholesaling to high street retailers and boutiques such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters and House of Fraser), Stephanie loves nothing better than to create something out of nothing.
With a Graduate Certificate in Creative Enterprise Management from London College of Communication which she gained whilst consulting for experiential ad agency Ambient Media. Stephanie was bestowed with a ‘Future 100 Young Entrepreneur’ award and aims to marry successful commercial practices with social responsibility to create the business model for the future. She is also a fellow of the RSA.
Over the past few years, Steph has built an unhealthy relationship with her laptop in the pursuit of knowledge, current affairs, general nosiness and an addiction to finding new and interesting music and cultural trends. Together they have become partners in crime.

Jade Snyper | Let’s Be Brief Ambassador
We met Jade during our first ever Let’s Be Brief youth workshops way back in 09. Since attending the five week training programme, Jade has become one of our trusted ears to the ground.
Young in years but wise in outlook, she’s a lover of vintage style, has a keen eye for composition and knows her Sandy Skoglund from Nan Goldin.
Being a leader and not a follower, Jade has the perfect attributes to spot and showcase forward thinking in culture and creative industry. In her role as LBB ambassador she will help run the soon to be relaunched Let’s Be Brief whilst starting her first year at uni. In fact, she’s busy carving out her future right now. It’s all very exciting you know.
