The Art of Winning Poster Competition with LBB & Boxpark Shoreditch

Posted: May 21st, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: Design, Events, Marketing, Music | Tags: , , , , , | 1 Comment.

If you follow our rag-tag twenty%extra fleet, you’ll know that we’ve recently relaunched LBB. To commemorate that launch, we’re running The Art of Winning Poster campaign with Boxpark Shoreditch. Want to know more? Well keep on reading.

POSTER DESIGN COMPETITION | THE BRIEF

The art of winning isn’t a board game or a game show. It’s not reality TV. It’s something you have to make a reality.

This summer at the London 2012 Summer Olympics, athletes from around the globe will be competing for medals, but for the rest of us, medals are not the reward. The reward is knowing we’ve got the best out of ourselves through years of hard work, dedication and more hard work. Winning feels good but it doesn’t come easy.

From personal happiness to leaving a genuine personal legacy; life’s potential list of achievements are too many to surmise.

Taking inspiration from The Olympics coming to LDN, LBB and Boxpark Shoreditch will be featuring 14 of the best poster designs that showcase what the ‘art of winning’ looks like.

And that is where you come in. We’re looking for 14 creative superstars to show us exactly what ‘winning’ means to you.

It’s Bank Holiday Weekend! If you’re in London for the weekend we have two hot spots for the diary.

This Sunday Earnest Endeavours, Black Atlantic and Dante Fried Chicken team up to bring you Ride or Fry an alternative carnival cook up. DJ’s include Alexander Nut and Fatima, Jon Phonics and more. What started as the KFC R.I.P. loft jams in New York almost a decade ago comes to Mare Street, Hackney. Good music and music come as standard, so do like me and start making room in your belly now.

On Bank Holiday Monday, The Insomniax will be hosting an After Carnival Party Special at Life on Old Street, with DJ’s Rapzcallion (Blacktronica) and Dan Anderson (A2B Records), not to mention a live performance of material from The Insomniax’s forthcoming Love She Wants EP, and live radio broadcast on Nasty.fm from 12-2AM.

Don’t say we don’t spoil you, ’cause we do.
