PhoneShop | C4 Comedy Showcase
I’ve never been really sure if Channel 4 know their a**e from their elbow (Misfits anyone?), but with PhoneShop – the new satirical comedy that piloted last night – there’s somebody there that at least knows where their funny bone is.
Set in the ‘retail battlefield’ that is the UK High Street, PhoneShop combines superb writing by Phil Bowker with a spot on cast. I feel a watershed moment coming on, or perhaps it’s just my tears of laughter.

Unfortunately the pilot can’t be seen anymore, but the good news is that a full series is coming soon. Boy are we happy about that. Information is thin on the ground at present, but what news there is can be found here.
