The London borough of Hackney has gained a reputation as the creative capital of the east end as well as the mantle of being the Cultural Olympiad borough.
To celebrate the ‘unique fabulousness’ of the area and to welcome the Olympic torch in style, Keith Khan Associates were commissioned to produce a carnivalesque street parade by Hackney Council and London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
We were commissioned by KKA to handle the digital marketing campaign which included: website design, flyer design, content creation and engagement marketing; targeting specifically the local creative community and youth audiences.
We successfully engaged Hackney’s great and the good such as Land of Kings, Passing Clouds, Netil House to featuring interviews from Alice Moxie, Don’t Watch that TV, FARM:Shop and Rag & Bow The Roaming Vintage Store and more.
The site had well over 5000 unique site visits during the 4 week campaign and it was indeed ‘the biggest street party Hackney has ever seen’.
