Mars Blackmon was a Spike Lee alter-ego who starred in his seminal She’s Gotta Have It ’86 movie. The character gained cult status as iconic front man for Nike’s Air Jordan commercials in the late 80′s early 90′s, and they’ve given life to Mars once more.

Still trying to understand what the hell these political parties are really on about? There’s an app for that.

3 televised ‘debates’, numerous pseudo-scandals and a roll out of pseudo-celebs can only mean we’re no less than 2 days away from deciding (through apathy or the ballot box) who’ll be running the country.

The Liberal Democrats enter the world of applications with one that looks like it was cooked up in the late 90′s. Substance over style would be the argument here though me thinks, but when did substance last win an election?

The manifesto app is yet another interesting example of the role technology has to play in reaching new audiences. I guess the full page manifesto was never going to be sexy enough.
